JNTUA submits data for NAAC accreditation

ANANTAPUR: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Anantapur on Wednesday completed all formalities for securing the Awaiting for many years for securing accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

JNTUA vice chancellor Prof. G. Ranga Janardhana and his team submitted all the data online to the NAAC, including the SSR (self-study report).

Speaking on the occasion, the VC said, “We submitted IIQS (Institutional Information Quality Assessment) in March. They accepted it in June. Today, we have submitted the SSR report.”

NAAC will evaluate the data through DVV (Digital Valuation and Verification). If necessary, it will seek additional information.

Subsequently, a physical team will visit the university and examine whether JNTUA is meeting each and every criterion stipulated by the NAAC.

JNTUA registrar Prof. C. Sasidhar, IQAC Director Prof. G.V. Subba Reddy, principal Prof. S.V. Satyanarayana, vice principal Prof. E. Aruna Kanthi, university directors, college heads of the departments, faculty and non-teaching staff of the university contributed towards preparation of the SSR.
