Anantapur: The Nandyal District SC Welfare and Empowerment office has advised eligible students from SC, ST, BC, Minority, EBC and Kapu communities in the district to submit their applications for financial assistance under the Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena scheme.
The applications for assistance should be submitted before June 10.
Students of Post-Graduation, Ph.D or MBBS who are eligible to study in the top 50 international universities under this scheme can get the government’s financial assistance. They should be eligible and have a good score in TOEFL/IELTS/GRE/GMAT, an official release said.
Students with 60 per cent marks in the qualifying course and an equivalent grade are eligible to avail assistance under the scheme.
Those who wish to join MBBS should have qualified for the NEET exam. The total annual income of the family should not exceed '8 lakh and the age should not exceed 35 years. The fee will be sanctioned as per the rules and regulations of the government.
Interested students are advised to log on to https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in to submit their requests.
