Pearl Academy Unveils Future Roadmap for Creative Education

Hyderabad: Strengthening its offerings in the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comic (AVGC) domain, design education powerhouse Pearl Academy has acquired FX Studio and EDGE Metaversity and entered into an academic partnership with IAMAG to prepare the next generation of creative professionals for the industry.

To reflect the institution’s sharp tech orientation and intent to stay ahead of the curve, Pearl Academy has introduced Credit-based learning of Web 3.0 & Metaverse, AI & ML, AR & VR, Adobe XD & Figma, ChatGPT & Midjourney, Phython and 3D Printing. Students will now have access to Adobe Creative Suite, WGSN and a digital library to supplement the classroom lectures. Additionally, 35 per cent of credits will be attributed to tech-driven curricula.

With a legacy of over three decades in shaping the creative landscape, Pearl Academy has redoubled its focus on three key aspects of learning – tech expertise, global exposure and life skills – that enable students’ progress towards becoming complete design professionals. Pearl Academy provides unmatched global exposure through summer workshops and student exchange programs at renowned international institutions. Students also get ample opportunities to participate in prestigious events such as the London Fashion Week and Lakme Fashion Week.

The institution’s partnership with organizations such as the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI) and Graduate Fashion Foundation (GFF) enables students to work on joint projects. Students have benefitted immensely through this exposure for the last several years and have had the opportunity to work with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, TCC, DLF Emporio Mercedes, Bequest Group, and Reliance Brands, among others. Going forward, all students will receive an international immersion experience for two weeks.

With an unwavering commitment to excellence, the institution lately brought together a distinguished panel of experts, thought leaders, and visionaries in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi to explore the ever-evolving landscape of creative education. The primary objective of these events on the theme ‘AI and the Death of Creativity’ is to ensure that Pearl Academy remains at the forefront of innovation and continues to offer best-in-class education to its diverse community of learners. Through these events, Pearl Academy aims to foster meaningful dialogue, share groundbreaking insights, and forge new pathways that will shape the future of creative education.

Pearl Academy has realigned its programs under seven verticals – Fashion, Business, Interiors, Communication Design, Product Design, Film and Gaming. Recently, an MoU was signed between Creative Arts Education Society (CAES), operating through its constituent academic facilities of Pearl Academy and Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Institute of National Importance, MoYAS, Government of India, facilitating Bachelor’s / Master’s degrees at all Pearl Academy campuses, including Delhi West, Delhi South, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Jaipur. As per this MoU, all students at Pearl Academy campuses will receive degrees, effective 2024 intake.
