The commissioner said that rank cards can be downloaded from website https://polycetap.nic.in/

There are total 265 polytechnic colleges in the state, which together have 77,117 seats.

Nagarani explained that pass marks in the entrance test are 30 out of 120. 15 candidates secured 120/120. They are Vanaparthi Tejasri, Konjarla Shankar Manik, Duvvi Ashish Sai Sreekar, Seela Gowtham, Grandhe Geethika, Aggala Krishna Sahith, Urinkala Jitu Kaumudi, Pala Geya Sri Sai Harshit, Kotipalli Yaswanth Satwik, Kodavati Mohith Sri Ram, Donga Sri Venkata Sarvan, Kanuri Bhanu Prakash, Duddupudi Rupika and Kappala Venkata Rama Vineesh.

The commissioner said the highest number of candidates who have qualified are from Visakhapatnam district (10,516). She said the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accredited five polytechnics, the government polytechnics located at Kalyandurgam, Gannavaram, Anakapalli, Amudalavalasa, and Kuppam. Additionally, two more polytechnics have completed the NBA inspection and are awaiting accreditation. In the upcoming months, inspections by NBA will be conducted for 49 more polytechnics, she stated.

Nagarani said counselling for polytechnic admissions will commence on May 29. A detailed notification with regard to web counselling for admission into polytechnics in Andhra Pradesh shall be released in due course in all leading newspapers. She advised candidates to remain alert and attend the certificate verification programme according to the schedule provided in the notification based on their indicated rank.

The commissioner said the notification in newspapers should be treated as a call letter for web counselling for admission. State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, will not be sending separate call letters for verification of certificates and web counselling to candidates, she clarified.

Nagarani pointed out that the process for verification of certificates is an integral part of web counselling. Failure to attend the certification verification process may render candidates ineligible for admission into any polytechnic in the state under the convener quota during the academic year 2023–24, she warned.
