TSPSC: SIT arrests 2 more persons

HYDERABAD: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Hyderabad city police investigating the TSPSC question paper leakage scam has arrested two more persons, taking the total number of arrests to 36.

The arrested have been identified as Ajmeera Pruthviraj working as junior panchayat secretary in Chinnamadampally of Khammam district and Rajeshwar Jadhav, working as an outsourcing employee at MRO office in Narnoor mandal, Adilabad district.

The SIT found that Pruthviraj got the question paper for AEE from Muralidhar, a mediator, who is already arrested in the scam for Rs 2 lakh and Jadhav got the question paper for AE (Civil) also from Muralidhar, but there was no cash transaction.

On Wednesday, the SIT arrested four persons which include Atla Sucharitha, the wife of Atla Rajashekar, former network administrator at TSPSC and one of the main accused in the scam, and Lavudya Shanti, wife of Lavudya Rajeshwar, who was among the first arrested, Rahul, a former colleague of another accused Renuka and another mediator Ramavath Dattu.
