AP POLYCET-2023 held, answer key to be released on May 13

VIJAYAWADA: The AP POLYCET-2023 exam was conducted successfully in 499 centres across the state on Wednesday. 1,43,592 students attended the exam, against 1,60,329 who registered for the same. Technical education commissioner Chadalavada Nagarani said the exam was held from 11 am to 1 pm and the overall attendance was 89.56 per cent. While 63,201 girls registered for the exam, 55,562 attended, with attendance at 87.91 per cent. 97,128 boys registered for the exam, of which 90.63 per cent — 88,030 attended.

Nagarani stated that the preliminary key for POLYCET-2023 will be uploaded to the website http://sbtetap.gov.in portal on May 13 and the results will be declared within 10 days.

She said 61 coordination centres, 26 district observers, 56 coordination centre observers and 499 centre observers worked with dedication to ensure that the exams were conducted smoothly. She mentioned that for every 24 candidates, one invigilator was appointed.

Nagarani thanked the district collector, magistrates and the revenue department for drafting squad teams to visit the centres and the medical department for arranging teams to attend to medical emergencies. She also thanked the police, the electricity department as well as the APSRTC.
