HYDERABAD: Elections for the Maulana Azad National Urdu University Students’ Union (MSU) for the 2022-23 academic year will be held from 8 am to 12 noon in MANUU campus and at its off-campus locations on Thursday.
Approximately, 3,257 students will cast their votes to elect the next
president, vice-president, secretary, joint secretary, treasurer and
executive committee members.
The investiture ceremony will begin by 3 pm on January 14.
According to the chief returning officer Prof. Mohammed Abdul Azeem 29 candidates are in the fray for various posts. Counting of votes will begin by 2.30 pm and results would be declared immediately thereafter.
Prof. Salma Ahmed Farooqui and Prof. Mohd. Razaullah Khan will be the
election observers. Twelve returning officers and 135 polling and counting officers have been appointed to ensure a smooth conduct of the elections.
