OU students rally to postpone Group -2 exams, taken into preventive custody

Hyderabad: The police on Tuesday took into preventive custody, Osmania University students who were planning to hold a rally from the Arts College to Pragathi Bhavan to press their demand for cancellation of the Group 2 exams.

“We went to the spot after we came to know that a group of students had gathered in front of the Arts College and were raising slogans demanding that the state government cancel the Group-2 exams,” said Osmania University police inspector P. Anjaneyulu. “Our team took them into custody and released them later,” the inspector said.
