AP Medical College bags ISO 9001:2015 certification for medical education services

Visakhapatnam: In its centenary year, Andhra Medical College (AMC) in Visakhapatnam has received ISO 9001:2015 certification for providing medical education services. The certification was awarded by HYM International Certifications, a leading international certification body.

The certification was handed over to Dr. G. Butchi Raju, Principal of AMC, by Sivayya of HYM International on September 3.

Andhra Medical College was established in Visakhapatnam in 1902. The course started with 50 students in the first batch and it was called Licentiate Certificate Standard A.
