Andhra University starts online IPR certificate course

VISAKHAPATNAM: Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Andhra University, is organising a one-week online certificate course on Understanding Patenting System in India from August 21 to August 26.

Releasing a poster in this regard on Thursday, AU vice-chancellor Prof. P.V.G.D. Prasad Reddy said the Centre for IPR has invited senior intellectual property experts from government as well as the industry for designing the course.

Others present on the occasion included rector Prof. K. Samata, registrar Prof. V. Krishna Mohan, Department of Intellectual Property Rights chair Prof. H. Purushotham, IPR attorney U. Ashok Hemant and Dr. D. Haritha of the Centre for IPR.

Programme coordinator Prof. Hanumanthu Purushotham said the inaugural address of the course will be delivered by Prof. Prabudha Ganguly, CEO Vision IPR, and adjunct professor at IIT-Jodhpur.
