Vet Varsity Signs MoU for AMR Research

HYDERABAD: The P.V. Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University and SCIINV Biosciences Pvt. Ltd on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through bacteriophage research for veterinary use. The MoU, signed on the university, is aimed at advancing research, developing innovative solutions, and addressing the AMR challenge.

University Vice Chancellor Prof. Ravinder Reddy stated, "We are excited to collaborate with SCIINV Biosciences in our shared mission to combat AMR”. Dr Uma Rani, CEO, and director of research Dr Ekambaram of SCIINV Biosciences, university registrar Dr Gnana Prakash and dean of faculty Dr Raghunandhan and Dr Burri Ranga Reddy, president of IFCAI, were present at the event.
