HYDERABAD: Kakatiya Medical College (KMC) in Warangal will have two new MD courses the academic year 2023-24 in the streams of DM Nephrology and Emergency Medicine following approval by the National Cedical Commission.
KMC, under Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, has been approved five seats each in the new courses.
The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) reviewed the assessor’s March 13 report, regarding faculty, teaching facilities and infrastructure for starting the courses.
Health minister T. Harish Rao tweeted his greetings to the directorate of medical education “Congratulations @dme_telangana for achieving 5 seats in MD Emergency Medicine, For the first time in #Telangana, State led Govt colleges and also getting approval for 5 seats in DM Nephrology in Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal. #TelanganaHealth @TelanganaCMO (sic)”
