YSRC gets more netas in Kakinada
KAKINADA: YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday called upon the people to give their support for fighting anti-people policies adopted by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Former MLAs Mootha Gopalakrishna, his son Mootha Sashidhar and former MLA Kurasala Kannababu joined the party in a public meeting organised in the city.
Mr Jagan appointed Mootha Sashidhar as the party coordinator for Kakinada City and Kurasala Kannababu for Kakinada Rural. He assured them of giving important positions in the future.
Mr Jagan said that corruption is skyrocketing under Naidu’s rule and people are facing lot of troubles. He said that Mr Naidu assumed power with false promises and cheated people. He appealed the people to support YSRC for launching movement against the TD rule.
Mootha Gopalakrishna accused Naidu of cheating people with false statements. Kurasala Kannababu said that Jagan Mohan Reddy could have gained power, if he promised farm loan waiver and DWCRA loan waiver.
But, Jagan didn’t not do so due to the poor financial status of state government.
Former Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao said if the government could achieve 17.76 per cent growth, then there would be no deficit budget in the state.
