WARANGAL: Four months after the encounter at Moddugutta in Govindaraopet mandal in which two Maoists were killed, another encounter took place in the forest area near Doragari Vempalli in Kothaguda Mandal early on Sunday.
Greyhound forces came face to face with a group of six persons belonging to New Democracy party affiliated to CPI (ML). After an exchange of fire, one naxal, Sarangam, was held while the rest fled the scene.
