Govindaraj is new Chennai collector
Chennai: In a major reshuffle, 11 senior IAS officers including Chennai Corporation Commissioner Vikram Kapur, Chennai Collector E. Sundaravalli and six district collectors were transferred on Wednesday.
In a release, Chief Secretary, K. Gnanadesikan, has stated that T.P. Rajesh, serving as Collector Krishnagiri district, has been posted as Karur Collector vice S. Jayandhi. C. Kathiravan, Commissioner, Madurai Corporation, has been transfered and posted as collector Krishnagiri vice T.P. Rajesh.
K. Nanthakumar collector Ramanathapuram, has been posted as collector Perambalur district vice Dr. Darez Ahamed. Jayandhi, Karur Collector, has been transferred as collector, Tiruppur district vice G. Govindaraj.
Tiruvallur collector K. Veera Raghava Rao has been transferred and posted as collector Madurai district vice Dr L. Subramanian.
Tiruppur collector G. Govindaraj has been posted as collector Chennai vice E. Sundaravalli. Additional director, rural development and panchayat raj Dr S. Natarajan has been posted as collector Ramanathapuram vice K. Nanthakumar.
Chennai collector E. Sundaravalli has been transferred and posted as collector Tiruvallur vice K. Veera Raghava Rao. Madurai district collector Dr L. Subramanian has been posted as joint commissioner of revenue administration vice M. Jayaraman, retired.
The services of Vikram Kapur, principal secretary/ Chennai corporation commissioner, has been placed at the disposal of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) at its principal secretary/managing director vice Dr B. Chandra Mohan.
