Hyderabad: The election authorities have seized Rs 1.90 lakh in cash at Circle 6, Rajendranagar. The SEC has directed the GHMC not to distribute dustbins to households as per the guidelines of the SEC.
As per the SEC’s directions, the GHMC has so far removed 1,71,641 unauthorised publicity materials of which 6,426 are cutouts, 42,244 are flexies, 39,984 banners and 53,645 are posters, Around 29,442 photos have been taken of suspected violations. Meanwhile, the police commissioner’s office said that 1,363 licensed arms have been seized and 372 persons bound over.
