Students like him and teachers are wholeheartedly thanking a blog, www.termsofdiet.blogspot.in, launched jointly by DIET (district institute of education and training) and IT@school Kasaragod two months back.
The one-of-its-kind e-resource centre for teachers is making the learning process an enjoyable experience in smart classrooms.
The blog contains more than 5,000 files in the form of video, audio and texts. It covers the entire units of each subject from Class 1 to 10.
“Around 750 units are being covered with 126 links and they are regularly updated. Apart from schools of Kasargod, schools in Kannur and Idukki districts are now making use of it,” said Dr P.V Purushothaman, Kasargod DIET senior lecturer (education technology).
The resource materials were taken from several scattered blogs by individual teachers and a majority made by a dedicated teachers’ pool, he added.
“The blog gives umpteen tools for a teacher to save the classroom from the usual boredom,” noted Rajesh M.P., Kasaragod district IT coordinator.
