Film uploaded on YouTube shot by city youngster; records 41,000 views so far times.

Visakhapatnam: A stunning four-minute aerial video featuring the picturesque locations of Vizag, shot with a drone camera has gone viral on YouTube. One is sure to fall in love with the Vizag after viewing the video. Vipresh Ananda Ganamani, a city youngster, who is currently pursuing graduation in Computer Science at University of Arizona, has filmed the video with his drone camera, DJI Phantom 3 model. About 41,000 people have viewed the video https://www.youtube.com/watchv=R9OUax8l-Kc which was uploaded on YouTube just four days ago.

“I wondered why my city, being so beautiful has not been featured in a video. Hence, I wanted to film the best locations of the city with my drone camera. I wanted to show the beauty of my city to others. I have seen such videos of Greece and Italy, and they look so beautiful. So, I thought I would do the same with the city. And, fortunately, it turned out very well,” he said.

“You can see Vizag’s scenic beauty in different pictures. But, just think, how it would look like if all that surreal locations could be shown in one frame and that too in motion,” he added. The video features sunrise and sunset moments behind a hill, birds flying over the Lord Shiva statue on the Kailasgiri hill, tides hitting the shore, ships and boats on the sea, beach road, city during night and a 360 degree view of the city, among others.

“I took about 25 days to film the video. I started it on December 17. I used to shoot early morning or in the evening and sometimes both. I spent about three hours a day including some filming and editing everyday,” he added. Speaking about the execution part, he said, “my friends Aquib Mehdi and Appa helped me.”

So, my friends Aquib Mehdi and Appa helped me decide what all parts to put together for the video. Also, my father gave me a lot of ideas. It requires a lot of patience and repeated efforts when it does not come out well. You have to monitor the wind, clouds and wait for hours to get a specific shot," he added narrating about the difficulties in filming the video.
