KOZHIKODE: From the smallest breed of Chihuahua to one of the tallest dogs Great Dane, more than 300 varieties of dogs will assemble at Zamorin’s HSS Ground in Kozhikode city for the 36th edition of Malabar Canine Club’s All India All Breeds Championship Dog Show.
Tamil actor Vijayakanth’s dogs are also participating in the show. An obedience show will be held on Sunday ahead of the dog show. Dogs from across the country will participate.
Malabar Canine Club secretary Arangil Gireesh Kumar said that the club is one of the three clubs in the state which can conduct such shows.
“Our club is entrusted to deal with the registration and transfer of dogs in the five northern Kerala districts. We ensure quality dog shows. For this tournament, the judges are John Clarke and Dennis Clarke from New Zealand,” he added.
