Talks on University of Hyderabad students' protest fail
The administration contended that as the students had approached High Court.
Hyderabad: Student protesters withdrew their two-day-old seige of the HCU administrative building on Thursday. They were protesting the suspension of five Dalit students over an alleged attack on an ABVP activist.
Talks between the members of the Joint Action Committee for Social Justice and vice-chancellor, Prof. Appa Rao Podile failed.
The administration contended that as the students had approached High Court, the university cannot take a decision on the suspension orders.
