Hyderabad: Some HCU students on Wednesday moved their protest from shopping complex to the varsity administrative building and stopped employees from entering the office. The students said they would will continue their protests till the suspension of Dalit students from university hostel is revoked.
Several students from English and Foreign Language University (Eflu) and Osmania University (OU) also extended their support to the ‘occupy administration’ protest. Sources said Wednesday’s protest was peaceful. All other departments and offices functioned as usual. University of Hyderabad officials claimed that the police was not called in.
