Kochi: The solar commission headed by Justice G. Sivarajan will take evidence from Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in a special sitting in Thiruvananthapuram on January 25.
The chief minister has been served with a notice to present himself before the commission.
It has decided to hold the special sitting taking into consideration the convenience of the chief minister.
The deposition before the commission will provide an opportunity to Mr Chandy to answer the allegations levelled by various people in connection with the solar scandal.
