“NIA officials called me up and told that they are producing my son in the court. They didn’t give us the reason for the arrest but said he is involved in a case. They told me that they will follow court directions,” said Abu Anas’s father, Amjad, told Deccan Chronicle on the phone.

Major pipe bomb blasts and Paris style attacks were averted with the arrest of these four terror suspects.

The NIA had sleuths seized gunpowder, ammonium nitrate weighing 2 kg, a pipe (possibly to be used for making pipe bombs), timer and a booklet and videos on “making explosive devices” and Jihadi literature from them.
