Hyderabad: The West Zone Task Force on Friday raided hookah centres in Banjara Hills, Punjagutta and Jubilee Hills and arrested six persons for keeping them open beyond the permitted time.
Based on a tip off, officials raided the six hookah centres and registered cases against them. “There was no separate area for smoking and non=smoking customers. Registers were not maintained properly and CCTV cameras were not installed in the premises,” said Task Force DCP B. Limba Reddy.
Officials registered cases against Central Park and Crush at Punjagutta, Mocha and Gravity at Banjara Hills and Cysters and Teesta Rossa in Jubilee Hills. The accused were handed over to the local police stations.
