AUS vs IND: Run chase leads to Bhogle-Wilkins banter
Canberra: Team India’s task of saving themselves from further embarrassment —chasing down 349 in the fourth One Day International (ODI) against Australia in Canberra after being 0-3 down in the series — saw banter between two cricket pundits on social media.
Though a dead rubber as India already lost the ODI series, Harsha Bhogle – the cricket commentator – could not hold his thrill seeing Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan going for the kill.
Bhogle tweeted: “If you are not watching this run chase you aren't a cricket lover,” to which Alan Wilkins – the former English county cricketer and renowned commentator replied: “Shri Bhogle, I am in the UK and not able to watch it...so am I not a cricket lover?”

@bhogleharsha Shri Bhogle, I am in the UK and not able to watch it...so am I not a cricket lover?

Though it remains unknown what stopped Wilkins to catch the action as it is being telecast worldwide and streamed online, the friendly wit did catch twitterati’s attention.
Later, Wilkins replied saying he started watching the match. But as soon as the duo joined the party, Dhawan and Kohli were dismissed.
Kohli reached his 25th ODI ton and became the fastest to do so. He fell prey to Kane Richardson.
While Dhawan scored 126 off 113, Kohli scored 106 off 92 balls.
