Don't visit casinos, you may meet 'wrong' people: BCCI to Team India
Melbourne: The Indian cricket team has been strictly advised by BCCI not to visit casinos during the limited-over tour in Australia. According to reports, the cricketers may come across “wrong” people in such places.
The report further added that the instruction reached the players during their bus ride from Brisbane to Melbourne.
India started off on a good note in third One Day International (ODI) here with Virat Kohli slamming a ton and the team reaching 295 for the loss of six wickets. He became the fastest to register 24 hundreds and pile up 7,000 runs in ODIs surpassing the twin milestones in 161 innings.
During his well-paced effort, Kohli left his idol and cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar far behind in terms of the quickness in the number of centuries and runs scored so far.
Tendulkar got to his 24th ton in his 219th innings while scoring 7000 plus runs in 189 innings.
The visitors lost the first two matches, at WACA and Brisbane, and a loss from here will see them lose the series.
India is scheduled to play a T20 series after the 50 over format.
