Helicopter service at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine... ... India Returns To New Normal

Helicopter service at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine resumes after 7 days

Helicopter service to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine resumed Wednesday after a seven-day suspension due to the India-Pakistan military standoff, officials said. The move follows the reopening of 32 airports, including Jammu and Srinagar, amid easing tensions. Shrine board officials reported a rise in pilgrim footfall and confirmed the battery car service is also operational. Over 30 lakh devotees have visited the shrine since January, and authorities expect numbers to grow significantly.
