Chirala: Beaches Closed, Waves Cause Coastal Erosion in Vadarevu, Surrounding Areas

Chirala: Due to the impact of Cyclone Montha, huge waves are rising on the coast of Chirala's Vadarevu in Bapatla district. A part of the coast has been eroded due to the rising waves. As a precautionary measure, the authorities have already closed the beaches. The police have not allowed tourists since yesterday. The beaches of Vadarevu, Ramapuram, Katarivaripalem, Motupalli, and China Ganjam, which are always bustling with tourists, are quiet.
