Hyderabad: UTI Asset Management Company Limited (UTI AMC) has clarified that the UTI MF were in no way associated with fake groups, communication channels, or fraudulent or fake app and any engagement with such groups, accounts, or handles is solely at the user's risk.
The clarification was issued after it was observed that some groups, individuals, handles and a mobile application impersonating UTI Mutual Fund (UTI MF) were soliciting bank transfers, mainly for transactions unrelated to mutual funds.
UTI MF and UTI AMC or its employees shall not be held liable for any loss suffered due to reliance on such fake communication, handles, or channels. The company strongly advises the public not to engage with these fake groups and to remain vigilant.
The UTI AMC is committed to protecting investors.
