Pune: SW MG Motor on Monday introduced the all-new MG Hector, packing the flagship SUV with refreshed styling, upgraded interiors and new technology features.
The SUV is priced from Rs 11.99 lakh onward at pan India showroom and it is sold in multiple seating configurations. The seven-seater version costs Rs 17.29 lakh.
“The Hector was our maiden nameplate and quickly became synonymous with the MG brand, emerging as one of India’s most loved SUVs with 1,50,000 customers since its debut,” said Anurag Mehrotra, MD at JSW MG Motor India.
“With the all-new MG Hector, we take this legacy a notch higher by enhancing its design, comfort, and technology, offering an unmatched value proposition,” he boasted, adding that it is aimed at setting a new benchmark for what a premium SUV can deliver.
The refreshed Hector gets design changes on the outside and inside, along with enhancements to infotainment, comfort and safety.
In fact, this is the third major update that the Hector has received since it was launched in 2019.
The new SUV gets a bold new chrome grille called Aura Hex, a redesigned front bumper with chrome trim, a reworked rear bumper, and new 16-inch Aura Bolt dual-tone alloy wheels. It is now available in new Caledon Blue and Pearl White exterior colours.
The Hector facelift comes with a dual-tone interior featuring ivory and black upholstery on the 5-seater version and black and beige on the 7-seater model.
The 2026 MG Hector is powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is paired with either a manual or CVT.
The diesel version will be introduced later, with the familiar 2.0-litre engine, the company said.
