The exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were 89.9472 and 61.02 per 100 yens, respectively.
The Reserve Bank of India on Tuesday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 64.9368 against the US dollar and 79.9047 for the euro.
Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 67.0397 against the US dollar and 78.6778 for the euro.
The corresponding rates were 67.1794 and 78.6778, as on June 05, 2018. According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were 89.9472 and 61.02 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon. The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate, the statement added.
