Jawa All Stars 42 bike Unveiled at Rs 1.85 lakh
The updated motorcycle gets more than 60 changes covering its design, chassis, ergonomics and other areas.
Pune: Classic Legends on Wednesday introduced the Jawa All Stars 42, priced at Rs 1.85 lakh, following the 42 FJ, expanding its new All Stars range after the recent launch of the Jawa 42 FJ All Stars.
The updated motorcycle gets more than 60 changes covering its design, chassis, ergonomics and other areas.
Showcased alongside the recently launched Jawa 42 FJ and 42 Bobber All Stars Editions, the standard 42 is the most affordable model in the Jawa line-up and gets notable updates beyond new body colours and graphics.
Significantly, this marks the first comprehensive update for the entry-level Jawa 42 model since 2024.
The Jawa 42 All Stars competes with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
“The Jawa 42 helped launch India’s modern classic category. The All Stars 42 carries that same instinct forward, not by abandoning what made the Jawa 42, but by asking what it should mean to the rider of today,” said Anupam Thareja, co-founder of Classic Legends, which owns Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles.
Mechanically, the Jawa 42 All Stars is the same as the regular model. It is powered by a 294cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 26.9bhp and 26.8Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Under the bodywork there is a double cradle frame that is suspended by a 35mm telescopic fork and preload adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. The bike rides on an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel, while braking duties are taken care of by a 280mm disc at the front and 240mm disc at the rear.
