Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav, a major national platform for India’s traders, entrepreneurs, women-led businesses, Divyang entrepreneurs and Gen-Z startups, will be held from August 12 to 15, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Organised under the aegis of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) and India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the four-day Mahotsav is being held under the guidance of Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Advisor Smriti Irani. The event is being led by CAIT National Secretary General and Chandni Chowk MP Praveen Khandelwal, CAIT President B.C. Bhartia and CAIT Chairman Brijmohan Agrawal.
CAIT Telangana President Vimal Kumar Nahar called upon traders, entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, startups and Divyang entrepreneurs from Telangana to participate in large numbers and showcase the state’s business potential on a national platform.
CAIT Telangana Convenor Avinash Devda said the Mahotsav is more than an exhibition, describing it as a national confluence that brings India’s vast trading and entrepreneurial strength under one roof. He highlighted the growing contribution of women entrepreneurs, Divyang entrepreneurs and young startups to India’s economic growth.
The Mahotsav will feature dedicated initiatives including “Nari Vandan”, recognising the contribution of women in business; “Navachar”, providing a platform for Gen-Z entrepreneurs and startups; and a special platform for Divyang entrepreneurs to showcase their products, services and capabilities.
CAIT Telangana IT & Social Media Head Vijay Tapadia said young entrepreneurs are driving India’s emerging economy through innovations in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Commerce, FinTech, E-Commerce, technology and sustainability. He noted that the Mahotsav will help connect young innovators with markets, investors and established business networks.
According to Devda, the event will also provide Telangana traders with opportunities to explore new markets, customers, business partners and business opportunities, while strengthening the spirit of “Vocal for Local”, “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
The Mahotsav’s vision is summed up in its theme: “Build India, Let the World Embrace It” — bringing together the power of trade, the power of women, the confidence of Divyang entrepreneurs and the innovation of youth on one platform towards a developed and self-reliant India.
