Blockchain expo to be held in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: After successfully hosting GES and WCIT, the city of Hyderabad, along with Goa, will host the first International Blockchain Conference from August 3 in hopes of reducing the gap with the rest of world in  this ‘high-impactful’  technology, according to an official here on Thursday.

Speaking to the media at the curtain raiser of the event, Mr Abhishek Pitti, CEO of Nucleus Vision, said, “The first two days of the conference will be held here while the third day of the event will be held in Goa.”

Meanwhile, Telangana State’s IT secretary Jayesh Rajan said, “We are planing to implement Blockchain in six or seven government applications. We will be signing MoUs with a few firms.”
