India will be the world's No. 1 economy by 2047: Anil Agarwal

HYDERABAD: Technology for the sake of technology will not survive and digital transformation must improve user experience, said S.G.K. Kishore, executive director (south) and chief innovation officer at GMR Airports.

He was speaking at Impetus, a full-day conclave on innovations, held at the HICC on Friday. It focused on unlocking the potential of agri-tech, food processing, manufacturing and pharma and healthcare industries by adapting and accelerating digital transformation and digital innovation.

K. Mohan Raidu, CEO, of Informatics India, and chair of the IT Committee, FTCCI, said that putting technology at the core of the business strategy would reduce operating costs and increase efficiency.

Anil Agarwal, FTCCI president, said MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) were being left behind in this race towards digital transformation and sought that they must be given impetus.
