Builders from other states invest in Hyderabad

The city has regained its attractiveness to multinational companies.

Mumbai: After years long lull, Hyderabad appears to have caught attention of realtors from outside the two Telugu states as the city has regained its attractiveness to multinational companies. On Thursday, Mumbai-based builder Kalpataru launched its premium residential project comprising 576 flats spread over 5.5 acres at Sanath Nagar.

Recently, Bengaluru-based developer Puravankara Group had launched its project at Rajendra Nagar. After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and formation of Telangana, several multinational companies such as Amazon, Google, Ikea, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Qualcomm, Accenture, Hyundai Mobis, CDK Global and Uber have come to Hyderabad.

According to Veera Babu, managing director of Cushman & Wakefield, Hyderabad, “Residential projects should fare well in the city on the back of infrastructure improvements, lower interest rates, positive job market and most importantly, lower prices compared to other cities.”
