Telangana signs MoU with Attivo
Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Wednesday entered into an MoU with Attivo Economic Zones Pvt Ltd to develop an infrastructure equipment manufacturing park in the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) near Zaheerabad.
The 500-acre park is expected to generate direct and indirect employment in excess of 10,000 over the next ten years. The world’s leading original equipment makers (OEMs) are expected to set up their units at this park. Required infrastructure and transportation facilities will be provided for the OEMs.
Speaking on the occasion, IT minister K.T. Rama Rao said, “Telangana is emerging as a preferred destination for the industry. Our priority has been to ensure ease of doing business and we will continue to support business ventures, which have the potential to drive industrial growth and economic progress of the state.”
Attivo Economic Zones Pvt Ltd, a Srei initiative, is in the business of developing, managing and marketing industrial parks, economic zones, SEZs and smart cities.The MoU was signed in Bengaluru. The park is located within two hours of driving distance from Hyderabad.
