Sapna Meisheri's journey with Eurokids international
How long have you been a Eurokids partner?
I have been a partner with Eurokids since 7 years now. I took up the Eurokids pre-school franchisee in 2011.
How did you first meet Eurokids Team and what made you choose Eurokids as your business partner?
I met a friend of mine who was managing a Eurokids franchisee in Vashi, Navi Mumbai in 2009. Through the same link I got to know about all the fun involved in running a pre-school franchisee. That’s how the complete idea triggered in my mind. I started meeting people associated with Eurokids and other pre-schools.
After an extensive research of almost 1 year I finally decided to call up the Eurokids corporate head office where I could connect with Mr Siddharth. He called me for a meeting at Eurokids India Ltd head office and that’s how my successful journey with Eurokids commenced.
I went to a couple of pre-schools before I actually decided on Eurokids like Tree-house, peek-a-boo, Kidzee. I even met the sales team at all these companies. But the quality & the work standards I could sense in Eurokids was just unparalleled. And that’s how I choose Eurokids as my business partner.
What goals had you set for yourself as an entrepreneur? How did Eurokids assist you in achieving your goals?
Well, I have always been very ambitious in life. The very thought of running my own pre-school centre just makes me even more passionate about my work. My goal as a Eurokids business partner was to cross admission figure of 100 kids, which I could easily achieve in 3yrs time and every year I keep taking my goal to newer heights so that the work gets even more challenging. Experience shared by successful Eurokids business partners coupled with expertise of Eurokids Corporate team motivated me in setting up the achievable goals in the right direction.
What were the main challenges you faced in meeting these goals?
The path towards my goal wasn’t really a walk on roses. I had to arrange for a large sum of working capital required for the huge rental structure involved in the leasing the premises during the first year of operation with very less admission figures. Apart from the financial crisis, I was struggling with appropriate staff recruitment, providing transportation facility, competitors closely located to the pre-school etc.
With a lot of hard work, dedication & family support, I could smoothly pass through all these hurdles.
How would you describe your experience with Eurokids international?
My experience with Eurokids has been exciting and equally challenging till now. There is always something exciting and innovative happening at Eurokids which truly sets it apart from the other competitors in the market. The very fact that Eurokids has been a pioneer in launching its custom made motion based learning modules just thrills me, as it indeed is a very unique concept and a next-gen pre-school truly defined by all the new initiatives.
There have been some rough patches along my journey with Eurokids too, which have been satisfactorily resolved by its expert corporate team consisting of qualified business managers, curriculum and operations team. The ‘share and care’ program with business partners has been a huge hit and truly inspires every partner to work hard towards their goal.
Tell us something about you
Since childhood I had made up my mind to start working as soon as I get into a degree college to cope up with education expenses and bear all my expenses by myself. The idea of typical 9 to5 job never amazed me and hence I always wanted to be self-employed. As I was really interested in science, I entered the science field and specialised in Biotechnology, but later when I completed masters in science, I felt like something exciting was missing in my life. Biotechnology as a career needed a lot of patience and work options in that field were quite limited in India then. Leaving my home country for better career options was never on my mind ever. This helped me make up my mind to start something of my own which was more thrilling and exciting. I am a diehard traveller and just love to explore new places of the world.
At a young age of 30, I have travelled to almost 15 countries and visited around 30 world cities. My hobbies are listening to music, playing badminton, reading books on ‘TRAVEL’ etc.
Please highlight the journey of becoming a franchisee owner
When I was just 18, I started my career becoming the youngest franchisee of SIP ACADEMY INDIA PVT LTD for Matunga/Wadala (Mumbai) area. There was no looking back thereafter. I used to attend science lectures in the morning. And then take SIP ABACUS AND BRAIN GYM classes in evenings and on Saturdays. My SIP Franchisee grew with more no. of kids and I was really enjoying the journey. I was trained to conduct SIP ABACUS AND BRAIN GYM program for all the levels. That’s not the end, I also used my spare time to coach students of 5th STD to 10th STD at my own place. Since I used to conduct the ABACUS classes in various pre-school, renting out their place, I was exposed to pre-school setup and working in a much better way. After a long association with SIP INDIA PVT LTD (2004-2010), I finally decided to take up a pre-school franchisee and that’s when the journey with Eurokids international limited began.

How do you constantly re-innovating your business?
I try and introduce a lot of innovative ideas in setting up a mark of my pre-school amongst other competitors by constantly looking for change. This is what sets me apart from others. Aiming for perfection in whatever I do in life, is my biggest strength. Apart from this, my strength is dedication and determination towards attainment of my goal. ‘The zeal that I have inside me for life’ is what makes me different from others. Obstacles in life don’t deviate me from my path to success as I strongly believe in whatever I do. Moreover I trust my abilities more than anything else In the life.
Loyalty, commitment and faithfulness are the values I preach in my life. I admire my parents more than anyone else in my life. Late Sir ABJ Kalam, Kiram Majumdar shaw are few of my idols who have inspired me to succeed in life.
What are your future business plans?
In future, I definitely plan to start a main stream school with best in class educational standards and wish to take education to a different level altogether with my skills and expertise in the field.
