Fintech Valley to hold 3 day meet in Vizag
Visakhapatnam: The Fintech Valley, Vizag, in a bid to create a global Fintech ecosystem, will hold three day Blockchain Business Conference 2017 from October 8 here at Novotel.
AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will grace the occasion on October 9. AP IT minister Nara Lokesh will also address the conference.
The conference will hold various sessions to understand about Blockchain technologies and its application in banking, insurance, supply and logistics, governance and regulation and cyber security spaces.
On October 8, one-day workshop designed for students to take them through the world of Blockchain technologies, its applications and opportunities will take place at GITAM University. Besides, Blockchain startup challenge and hackathon series. The startup winning the challenge could get a seed fund of '5 lakh from the government and '2 lakh for the runners-up.
Fintech Valley is focusing on converging finance and technology, to create world-class infrastructure, entrepreneurship and innovation in AP. The initiative aims at promoting business and infrastructure in AP by attracting investors and multinational corporations to set up bases.
The conference will connect around 300 prominent names from the Blockchain community, government bodies, emerging startups and corporates working on Blockchain technologies to create business and investment opportunities.
