Landmark Group eyes value apparel pie
Hyderabad: In an attempt to tap the huge demand for branded garments from lower middle classes and in small cities, Dubai-based Landmark Group plans to set up 50 value-for-money showrooms in two years in the country.
“Our new value apparel format Easybuy addresses the need for branded apparel in smaller towns. This format will also serve people, who cannot afford the price range offered by Lifestyle and Max,” Anand Aiyer, senior vice-president, business head, Easybuy, told this newspaper.
The Easybuy format was launched for the first time in India at Karimnagar.
Currently., there are 15 Easybuy showroom in India. Of this, eight are in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
“Now that we have successfully tested this business model, we are planning to launch 50 showrooms on franchisee model in two years,” he said.
