Sop LPG gas, ATP prices increased

This is the fourth straight monthly increase in rates and could force airlines to increase prices of air tickets.

New Delhi: Aviation turbine fuel or jet fuel price was hiked by a steep 9.2 per cent on Wednesday, while that of non-subsidised cooking gas was raised by Rs 21 per cylinder. The price of subsidised LPG remains unchanged.

This is the fourth straight monthly increase in rates and could force airlines to increase prices of air tickets. On Tuesday, PSU oil companies had hiked petrol price by Rs 2.58 per litre and diesel by Rs 2.26 a litre. All services have become costlier with the Krishi Kalyan Cess coming into effect from Wednesday.
