Mumbai: The rupee climbed for the third day,this time by 9 paise to 67.43 against the US dollar in early trade today on sustained selling of the American currency by banks and exporters.

Meanwhile, the benchmark BSE Sensex reclaimed the 27,000-mark by surging 220.29 points, or 0.81 per cent, to 27,220.01 in early session.
