September Contracts Edge Lower As Participants Cut Positions
Silver prices were nearly flat at Rs 2,39,607 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as participants reduced their bets amid a sell-off.
Silver prices were nearly flat at Rs 2,39,607 per kilogram in futures trade on Thursday as participants reduced their bets.On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 31, or 0.01 per cent, to Rs 2,39,607 per kg in a business turnover of 6,876 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, the white metal was trading 0.35 per cent lower at USD 68.35 per ounce in New York.
