Silver Futures Drop Rs 3,576 Per Kg on Profit Booking

Weak global cues and selling pressure by traders drag silver prices lower in futures trade.
Silver futures fell Rs 3,576 to Rs 2,17,597 per kg on the MCX as participants reduced positions amid a decline in global prices.
Silver prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 3,576 to Rs 2,17,597 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 3,576, or 1.62 per cent, to Rs 2,17,597 per kg in a business turnover of 1,716 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices. Globally, the white metal was trading 1.95 per cent down at USD 57.22 per ounce in New York.
