Gold Futures Rise Rs 1,432 To Rs 1.60 Lakh Per 10 Grams
Fresh positions by speculators amid firm spot demand lifted gold prices in futures trade.

Gold futures for October delivery rose 0.9 per cent to Rs 1,60,857 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
Gold prices on Friday rose by Rs 1,432 to Rs 1.60 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on a firm spot demand.On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the yellow metal contract for October delivery traded higher by Rs 1,432, or 0.9 per cent, at Rs 1,60,857 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 2,542 lots.
Fresh positions by market participants led to a rise in the precious metal's prices, analysts said.
Gold futures rose 0.98 per cent to USD 4,561.01 per ounce in New York.
