Weaker Spot Demand Weighs On Precious Metal Prices
Gold prices declined Rs 208 to Rs 1,54,252 per 10 grams in futures trade on the MCX amid weak spot demand, while global prices also edged lower.
Gold prices on Tuesday dropped by Rs 208 to Rs 1,54,252 per 10 grams in futures trade amid a fall in spot demand.On the Multi Commodity Exchange, yellow metal contracts for October delivery traded lower by Rs 208, or 0.13 per cent, at Rs 1,54,252 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 2,452 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in precious metal prices to weaker spot demand. Globally, gold futures declined by 0.12 per cent to USD 4,432.26 per ounce in New York.
