Bangalore: Travel fintech company Scapia has raised $40 million in a Series B funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Elevation Capital, Z47, and 3STATE Capital. The funding will support product innovation, AI-driven services, and team expansion.
Scapia, known for its co-branded credit card with Federal Bank, has seen strong demand from Gen Z and millennial travellers. The card offers zero joining and annual fees, no forex markup, unlimited domestic lounge access, and up to 20% travel rewards.
Founder & CEO Anil Goteti emphasized the company's focus on banking partnerships, user-friendly travel solutions, and a seamless digital experience. Investors see huge growth potential, with millennials and Gen Z driving 50% of credit card issuance in India, fueling an $80–100 billion annual market by 2030.
Scapia has also launched a RuPay variant to tap into India's growing UPI ecosystem, reinforcing its vision to redefine travel and financial experiences for modern Indian consumers.
