NALCO Posts Record ₹5,325 Crore Profit in FY25, Highest Since Inception
The entity registers a record net profit of Rs 5,325 crore for FY 25, marking a robust 158 per cent growth compared to the previous financial year.

Bhubaneswar: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Union Ministry of Mines, has scripted history by posting its highest-ever net profit and revenue from operations since its inception in FY25.
As per the audited financial results approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting held on Wednesday, NALCO registered a record net profit of ₹5,325 crore for FY25, marking a robust 158 per cent growth compared to the previous financial year. The company also achieved its highest-ever revenue from operations at ₹16,788 crore during the same period.
The performance in the fourth quarter further underlined NALCO’s remarkable growth, with net profit soaring to ₹2,078 crore, a 105 per cent jump over ₹1,016 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations during the quarter stood at ₹5,268 crore, compared to ₹3,579 crore in the year-ago period.
The outstanding financial performance was driven by buoyant aluminium and alumina prices, operational efficiencies, and consistent progress in key expansion projects. NALCO also reported record operational achievements in FY25, including its highest-ever bauxite excavation of 76.48 lakh tonnes and domestic metal sales of 4.55 lakh tonnes.
Appreciating the company’s stellar performance, Brijendra Pratap Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, said, “Our growth gained significant momentum in the third and fourth quarters of FY25, which is clearly reflected in the strong financial results. Enhanced efficiency, cost optimisation, and the unwavering commitment of our workforce have enabled NALCO to remain competitive in a dynamic market.”
With aluminium prices firming up and demand on the rise, NALCO is poised to sustain its growth momentum. The company’s strategic initiatives—including the fifth stream expansion of the Alumina Refinery, operationalisation of the Pottangi Bauxite Mines, and proposed expansions of the Smelter Plant and Captive Power Plant—are set to further strengthen its position in the global aluminium industry.
