Sony Bravia XR TV launched in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The city witnessed the launch of the hi-tech Sony Bravia XR TV line-up at Bajaj Electronics in Panjagutta here on Tuesday, with Tomohiro Nakashima, director, marketing, Sony India Private Limited, Abhijith M.D., business head, Telangana, of Sony India and Karan Bajaj, CEO, Bajaj Electronics doing the honours.

The Bravia XR series TVs, a statement said, are equipped with special features to provide consumers with an immersive experience while watching movies, streaming apps or gaming.

Addressing the gathering, Karan Bajaj said, “We are extremely delighted to host the unveiling of Sony 2023 Bravia XR TV line-up at our store. We would like to extend our gratitude to Sony for choosing our store for this launch.”

It was stated that the Bravia XR has an updated cognitive processor, featuring the all-new XR clear image on select models, which improves noise reduction and improves motion clarity while reducing blur. The cognitive processor XR enables better backlight control for increased local dimming zones, increased brightness and decreased blooming.

Each model offers acoustic centre sync, which synchronises the TV’s audio system with the centre channel of a compatible Sony soundbar, turning it into the centre speaker.

Each model works with Sony soundbars to offer 360-degree spatial sound mapping which generates phantom speakers and sound field optimisation. The new X95L features Acoustic Multi-Audio+, using frame tweeters to elevate the sound in a way that matches the image on screen.

The A80L model features Acoustic Surface Audio+M with actuators that vibrate to produce sound from the entire screen, perfectly matching with what’s playing.

The statement said the Bravia XR line-up also allows gamers to take their PlayStation5 gaming to the next level with exclusive features, including Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode, for optimised picture quality while gaming and streaming.

Other features include an easy-to-use game menu where gamers can tailor their settings to their preferences, such as turning on or off VRR or Motion Blur Reduction with quick access. It also allows users to increase the brightness in dark areas to easily spot objects and opponents with the Black Equaliser and can easily take aim on their opponents with six types of crosshairs.

New this year is the ability to customise the size of the screen with the Screen Size feature to concentrate gaming with a smaller, focused screen.
