Fleeca India incubates at NASSCOM Centre of Excellence at IIT Gandhinagar

The centre is envisaged to be a hub for developing IoT, AI and deep tech solutions for various sectors.

Jaipur: Jaipur-based start-up Fleeca India, which provides AI & IoT based tyre management services is all set to start its operations at NASSCOM Centre of Excellence – a joint initiative by MeitY (Govt. of India), ERNET, DST (Govt of Gujarat) and GIL, based out of IIT Gandhinagar.

The centre is envisaged to be a hub for developing IoT, AI and deep tech solutions for various sectors. The centre also has a start-up incubator where Fleeca India’s technical team will be working. In addition, the team will be mentored and supervised by NASSCOM CoE-IoTs core team, and an array of academic researchers and industry experts

Fleeca, which stands for ‘FleetCare’, is a tyre management services company for heavy commercial vehicle fleet owners, working to increase the second life of Tyre. Fleeca India uses radio frequency identification technique to track overall mileage throughout the lifecycle of tires.

Announcing the agreement, Mr. Tikam Chand Jain, Founder & CEO, Fleeca India said, “We are glad to connect and work with NASSCOM CoE-IoT Gandhinagar. This arrangement will facilitate mentorship from industry and academia experts, suggested by NASSCOM CoE-IoT and will also enable us to develop innovative, indigenous technologies that could be used in our future projects.”

Speaking on the support from NASSCOM CoE-IoT, Mr. Sanjeev Malhotra, CEO said, “The key success factor of our incubator is the availability of strong industry mentor connects, which helps in guiding the startups individually. Fleeca is catering to a niche segment, hence require in-depth research. We believe that now is the right time to build the startup ecosystem to nurture innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently, we have around 75 startups working on deep tech & innovation across domains like Healthcare, Agritech, Industry 4.0, Cleantech, Automobile, Energy & Smart cities. We are still in a process of identifying potential startups like Fleeca India from across the country.”
